The 47-year-old star was released Monday (Oct 11) from Highpoint Prison in Suffolk after spending four weeks in jail.
He was given an eight-week sentence last month after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. He was arrested in July after crashing his car into a branch of Snappy Snaps in north London.
He looked happy as he spoke to reporters outside his home in Highgate in north London and spoke a few words about his recent release.
He said: "I just thought there's no one in the house, my minders have gone home, I just thought if I'm going to... you know, as much as I'd like to play cat and mouse with you all, I can't be fooking bothered, I just want to get out.
"So if you could all take a few pictures, I'd really appreciate it. Fantastic, what a beautiful day! I just want to say thank you to everybody that supported me, it was quite inspirational.
"I'm coming out here on my own so that you realise I just want to start again. I'm going to try and stop running away from you guys."
As he went back into his house he turned back around and added: "By the way I've just thought of a really good idea for a song and it's got nothing to do with prison!"
