Gnarls Barkley still number 1

Gnarls Barkley have made chart history once again with 'Crazy' securing its eighth week as the UK's number one single.

The track - by duo Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse - is now the most successful single released in Britain in over a decade, beating Tony Christie's '(Is This The Way To} Amarillo' which clocked-up seven weeks at number one last year.

Wet Wet Wet's chart topper 'Love Is All Around' is now ahead of Gnarls Barkley in recent chart history with its 15 weeks at number one in 1994.

'Crazy' had already made chart history in its first week of release by being the first song ever to go to number one on downloads alone. If it hangs for a ninth week the duo will equal Queen's 1975 run with 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.
