Following a highly successful trek across Europe in the spring of 2009 to promote the release of their new album, Lost Channels, Canadian folk rockers Great Lake Swimmers return in November for another tour.
UK and Irish dates are as follows:
November 2009
11th - Brighton - Komedia
13th - Dublin - Crawdaddy
14th - Belfast - Speakeasy
15th - Birmingham - Glee Club
16th - Manchester - Deaf Institute
17th - Bristol - Metropolis
18th - London - Scala
Lost Channels received rave reviews around the world upon release, with many in the media comparing Great Lake Swimmers favourably to the likes of Fleet Foxes, Iron & Wine and Cowboy Junkies. Their rapturously received May show at The Borderline in London was sold out months in advance and helped to cement a burgeoning reputation that had been building ever since the release of their previous album, Ongiara (Nettwerk, 2007).
