Gwen Stefani has been offering Adam Levine advice on baby names.
The Maroon 5 frontman is expecting his first child with 26-year-old model wife Behati Prinsloo. Gwen is no stranger to parenthood, as she has three children with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale - nine-year-old Kingston, seven-year-old Zuma and two-year-old Apollo. So as Adam, 37, and Behati prepare to welcome their new arrival, Gwen has been on hand to answer any questions they may have.
"Adam keeps texting me, 'What about this name? What about this name?'" Gwen told Entertainment Tonight. "And then just all that kind of stuff. It's just really fun. It's fun because I've had so many kids. I'll be like, 'And then this happens. And then this happens. And then wait, this is what's going to happen.' It's fun."
But when the outlet pressed Gwen to give them a hint on a moniker for the baby, she laughed: "Are you kidding me? Like I would tell you, no way!"
Behati, a Victoria's Secret model, has been keeping fans updated with her changing figure on her various social media pages. And one person watching very closely is Gwen.
"I'm not a very good advice giver, but I have definitely been watching (Behati's) belly grow and I'm so happy for them. I'm so excited," she smiled.
Adam confirmed he was going to be a father on Instagram in April (16) by sharing a picture of Behati sunbathing in a two-piece bikini, with a small bump on display.
He said being a parent had always been part of his plan and he cannot wait to meet the child, which is thought to be a little girl. He recently told ETOnline.com, "I'm ready to be a dad. You're born to be a parent, that's what we're here for, really. All the other s**t is great, but it's not what we're here for."
