Heidi Montag does `research` in strip club

The former Hills star is back and ready to release some new music.

She revealed on Sunday that she was going to a strip club to do some 'research' for her upcoming music video.

Montag tweeted: 'Going to Hustler strip club, I want to pick up some tips for my music video that I am shooting next week.'

Heidi's first album, Superficial, sold less than 1,000 copies in the first week it was released.

The 24-year-old and husband Spencer Pratt, 27, held a Halloween party at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The pair, who married in 2009, are now reunited after separating and filing for divorce in the summer.
