The 44-year-old actress portrays Bellatrix Lestrange in the hotly anticipated Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and says her costumes and make-up particularly agreed with her.
Helena teased that wearing the teeth made her lips look much plumper, giving her an aura of youth and beauty.
“I had fake teeth," she told MTV. "It's a beauty tip: Use fake teeth. The [teeth] plumped up my upper lip, which makes you look younger. It's like having collagen without having collagen because it makes the lip fuller. Always get false teeth."
The talented star also revealed how much she loves playing crazy pure-blood witch Bellatrix as it enables her to be loud and childish. Helena admits all the screaming and shouting her character does can get rather tiring though.
“It's always fun playing insane. She's kind of exhausting to play because she screams a lot, but she was fun. I miss her, actually. She's innately a child, which is always fun to be childish. Any excuse to be childish,” she laughed.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is due for release next month, and makes up the first instalment of the film adaptation of the British author JK Rowling’s final book in the hugely successful series for children about life in a school for witches and wizards.
The movies made huge stars of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, and the latter has expressed recently how sad he is at the series ending. He is looking forward to new ventures though.
"We had like a big wrap party when we finished...I haven't quite adjusted to life without Harry Potter. I'm really sad actually, I've missed it. But after 10 years, I do kind of want to stretch a bit more and explore different characters and do different things," Rupert told Parade magazine.
