The current trend for any modern artist dictates that they must have an open, 2-way dialogue with fans. Positively embracing new technology is just as vital. This is not a new idea to Howard Jones who has always rigorously pursued adopting innovation and opened up his personal Facebook page to any fan that requested a union.
In-line with his ambitions and the continued commitment to his fans Howard Jones has teamed up with the video broadcasting platform Livestream.com to exclusively bring fans a live broadcast pre-release playback of his new studio album, 'Ordinary Heroes'. The live broadcast, scheduled for 7pm on November 2nd, will offer fans previously off-limits access to Howard as well as a rare glimpse inside the songwriter's studio.
Fans tuning into the broadcast will be treated to a pre-release filmed album playback streamed live directly from Howard's studios in Taunton. As well as hearing new tracks for the first time, viewers can also expect first-hand anecdotal content as Howard pauses the playback in between tracks to talk his way through the inspirations and influences behind this, his 9th studio album.
By signing up to Livestream, users will also be able to interact with Howard during the live broadcast using a live 'chat' facility. The Howard Jones channel can be found at: http://www.livestream.com/howardjones
The online promotion is scheduled ahead of a trio of live UK performances from Howard. On 6th November Howard Jones appears at The IndigO2 in London, followed by further appearances at The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester on 12th November and St. David's Hall, Cardiff on the 13th November. Nick Heyward will be Howard's very special guest at the IndigO2 and very special guests, The Morriston Orpheus Choir, will join Jones in Cardiff.
