Hugh Jackman has admitted that he finds the number of fake online profiles pretending to be him "frightening."
The X-Men star admits that he only signed up to Facebook and Twitter in a bid to foil those who had been using his name for nefarious online purposes.
He told the Sun: "There are 360 fake Hugh Jackmans on Facebook. My friends think they are conversing with me but they're not.
"The idea of people pretending to be me and others believing it is me is frightening. I want to encourage the impersonators to have a life."
Real Steel, Jackman's latest movie, is released on October 14.
