James Walsh to headline the Aardvarker launch party at Hard Rock Cafe on 16th November.
Starsailor frontman, James Walsh, has been announced to play Hard Rock Cafe, alongside The 9ines and The Fifth Movement, on Wednesday 16th November.
This will mark the official launch of new independent label (funded in June 2011) and charity organisation, Aardvarker, whose mission is to run fund raising and charity campaigns through its program of music events, school events and new band releases, among other activities.
The Aardvarker launch fundraiser is to highlight the work of the organisation through the medium of music and food and will be hosted at West End venue, Hard Rock Cafe, by Absolute Radio's Russ Williams, in aid of The National Autistic Society's 'Music For the Greater Good' and LAM Action's 'Walk Tall and Be Free' charity campaigns.
Justin Gregson and Alex Wright of The 9ines are donating 15p from every digital download of their debut singles, 'Walk Tall' and 'Be Free', to the two charities, and both singles are now available to download from iTunes, Amazon mp3, HMV Digital, Spotify, We7 and 7 Digital for a mere 79p.
Entry to the event includes food and drink, a raffle, an auction and DJ sets. Live music will be headlined by Starsailor frontman James Walsh and supported by two bands helped by Aardvarker – The 9ines and The Fifth Movement.
The Aardvarker launch party starts at 6.30pm.
Tickets cost £ 75, available on www.aardvarker.com.
