Although Janet Jackson appeared on "Good Morning America" Monday (Oct. 25) to discuss her appearance in Tyler Perry's upcoming film "For Colored Girls," the talk turned toward romance and rumors. Jackson denied recent claims that she is engaged to her beau, Qatar businessman Wissam Al Mana.

Jackson couldn't help but beam when the subject of her boyfriend was brought up by anchor Robin Roberts, but she remained mum on their relationship besides denying an engagement.
"He's a very, very private man, so I don't talk about our relationship," she said. "But, I really think it's important that I just say this: They've been trying to marry me off for a very, very long time, and, no, I'm not engaged."
A graceful way to stay private, if I've ever heard one.
