Jason Derülo hopes to find love in the UK.
The American singer-songwriter has gone on to achieve worldwide success since his self titled debut album launched in 2009.
He has since recorded his second studio album Future History, which includes the lead singles Don't Wanna Go Home and It Girl.
Jason responded to a news anchor's question when asked if he'd found his own 't Girl' yet.
' haven't,' he replied with a smile. 'Maybe I'll find her here in England.'
Jason produced records for several artists, including Diddy, Lil Wayne and Sean Kingston, before hitting the charts with his own R&B records. The star is proud of his achievements at such a young age.
' started writing when I was eight years old, and then when I was 16 I became a ghost writer and got my first placement,' he told BBC Breakfast. 'As I got older, I wrote more and more every day. I was 19 when I wrote my first album. Being older now, Future History is very different.
''ve grown a lot in two years.'
Jason turns 22 today.
The artist noted that British musician Liam Gallagher also shares the same birthday. Jason revealed he is a big Oasis fan.
't's Liam's birthday too,' he exclaimed. ' like Oasis, Wonderwall is my favourite song.'
