Jay-Z and Kanye West collected the prize for Best Group at Sunday's BET Awards.
The rapping duo's successful Watch The Throne collaboration spawned numerous hits and a successful tour.
Kim Kardashian was by Kanye's side as he was announced the winner and he got a surprise when he hit the stage.
"I'm bad at losing. I'm bad at winning," he told the crowd in Los Angeles. "I'm always saying the wrong thing and I wish Jay-Z was here to say something politically correct for me."
And as he said that, Jay-Z ran on stage and gave his friend a big hug before continuing on the acceptance speech.
"Thank you. We really worked hard on this album," Jay-Z said. "We didn't rely on our name. We appreciate everybody, the tour, from here to Europe. We're just going to keep making the best stuff."
Beyoncé Knowles was also there to collect her prize for Best Female R&B Artist which she dedicated to the late Whitney Houston.
Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and Usher were among the performers on the show that was hosted by Samuel L. Jackson.
