Hip-hop megastar Jay-Z will release a live audio and video EP of the show he took the subway to get to.
Jay just tweeted to fans that they can pre-order the 'Live In Brooklyn' "optic" EP now. The pre-order doesn't specify which songs will appear; it lists eight audio tracks along with eight videos.
It'll be from his recent live performances at Brooklyn's new Barclays Arena, home of his Brooklyn Nets basketball team, the eighth and final show taking place on the weekend, with a surprise guest spot from wife Beyonce.
Just like a proper Brooklyn native, Jay-Z took the subway to get to the show. The Hollywood Reporter has photos of the legend hopping on a downtown R train surrounded by plain-clothes police and security staff and with Barclays developer Bruce Ratner. He did mix it with the natives, sitting with an older woman and chatting on the way. Jay-Z: Man of the People.
He also streamed the final show live on his new dedicated YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/jayz
