It's no secret that Pharrell Williams and Jay-Z make one hell of a combination in the studio. And the Neptunes producer and Frank Ocean already have one fan favorite under their belt, so why not put them all together?
Fa'real piqued the interest of fans on Monday with just two tweets. "Yessur, in the studio with @S_C_ and @frank_ocean," he wrote with a pic of him, Hov and the Odd Future singer/songwriter seated in the studio. "Can't wait for y'all to hear what I'm working on with big bro @S_C_ and lil bro @frank_ocean."

Hov and Skateboard P have crafted a ton of hits like "I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)" and "Frontin'." Ocean made a splash last year when he was featured on two of Jay and Kanye's Watch the Throne tracks and collaborated with Pharrell on "Sweet Life" off of Frank's major-label debut Channel Orange earlier this year. As of now, there is no word on where this new collaboration may end up.
It's been three years since Hov last released a solo affair (The Blueprint III), the longest gap in his discography since his high-profile 2003 retirement, which ultimately led to his 2006 comeback with Kingdom Come. MTV News caught up with Jigga in December 2011 and he hinted that we may get a new solo album from him this year, but when we followed up with the God MC in May, he told us he took a bit of a studio hiatus to spend time with his baby daughter Blue Ivy.
"I thought that I would after my daughter was born. I thought I would be more inspired with all the new feelings and everything that I'd have to write about, but it really happened the other way," Jay said. "I just really wanna hang out with her. I just wanna enjoy those moments for a bit and I'm sure that feeling of music will come back to me."
Now that Jay has wrapped up his eight-concert stand at the newly minted Barclays Center in his native Brooklyn, maybe he's found the inspiration he needs for a new solo album. Only time will tell.
