Cara Delevingne is reportedly in talks to sign with Jay-Z's music label Roc Nation.
The 20-year-old fashion model is friends with some of the label's biggest stars, including Rita Ora and Rihanna.
Both count Jay-Z as their record boss and Cara is reportedly keen to jump on board the mogul's roster.
According to UK newspaper The Sun, the British beauty has sent demos of her songs to Jay's team at the company.
Apparently her famous pals are helping her to ink a deal.
"Cara is desperate for a music career and has had a lot of advice from Rihanna and Rita," a source said.
"Now they have passed her demos to their managers Tyran 'Ty Ty' Smith and Jay Brown, who run Roc Nation with Jay-Z."
Cara reportedly wants the personal guidance of Jay-Z.
The model is believed to have already struck up a friendly rapport with the rapper. But she's eager to earn the praise of Tyran and Jay Brown to insure their boss takes her seriously.
"She's hopeful the firm will take her on to their roster and help guide her music career. Cara met Jay-Z backstage at Beyonce's London show earlier this month and they got on well. So there is a good chance Roc Nation will take her on," the insider explained.
It's not the first rumours of a fledgling music career for Cara.
The model was reportedly working on songs with pal Rita last month.
Spokespersons for Cara and Roc Nation have yet to publicly comment on the claims.
