Jay-Z has announced he is selling his 40/40 Club in Las Vegas.
The club operates out of The Palazzo and Casino, but after the sale will have a new name.
Jay-Z has not made the name part of the sale as he plans on using it in other cities. "The sale is a great business decision, we are delighted. We look forward to expanding the brand even further to Chicago and Tokyo," stated he said.
As well as Chicago and Tokyo, he also plans to open one in Macau.
Jay-Z opened the first 40/40 club in New York in 2003. The second club opened in Atlantic City in 2005.
40/40 is a term that refers to an exclusive club of baseball players who have had 40 home runs or stolen 40 bases in one season.
The news came the same day Jay-Z's sister-in-law Solange Knowles was making an appearance on a Las Vegas television show.
Solange made a fool of herself when she chewed down the host for an "unprofessional introduction" mentioning Jay-Z when the host had not mentioned Jay-Z at all.
