The rapper – who wed pop star Beyonce Knowles in 2008 at a secret ceremony in New York – has offered to help the 'Angels' hitmaker plan his upcoming nuptials to his girlfriend of three years, Ayda Field, because he thinks he can throw an excellent party.
He said: "I would be happy to help Robbie organise his wedding. I am sure he will make it an extravagant party. I had my 40th birthday last month in the Dominican Republic. That would be a great place for Robbie's wedding. It's the most stunning place on earth. It has everything – beautiful beaches, scenery, golf courses – and is easy to fly guests to."
Despite recently denying he and Ayda were engaged, speculation is growing that Robbie popped the question to the actress over the festive period as she was photographed at the weekend wearing a giant diamond band on her ring finger.
Jay-Z has now invited the couple over for dinner to start working on the arrangements for their union and has even promised to throw in a personal performance as a wedding gift.
He explained to The Sun newspaper: "The entertainment at my party was all hot and if Robbie wants my help he should come over for dinner and Beyonce and I can help him out. She is great at organising parties, she loves it.
"I don't know what Robbie's entertainment plans are, but as a wedding present, I would get up after the speeches and do a little set."
