Jessie J is 'excited' to have had her leg cast removed.
The 23-year-old singer broke her leg during rehearsals in June. Jessie's left leg was confined in a large cast throughout the summer.
The cast was removed this week and Jessie is elated to walk on two feet again.
' can't explain how excited I am to have my leg out of the cast. Yes, finally, I can wear two shoes instead of one,' Jessie told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.
Jessie had to cancel a slew of shows including a concert tour with Katy Perry as a result of her injury. In addition to creating challenges for the singer in her career, the wound has unfortunately left Jessie with permanent physical damage.
' will always suffer from arthritis in my ankle. It really hurts,' Jessie explained.
't will be something I have to live with forever. So I will never make that full recovery.'
Jessie is in good spirits despite knowledge of her chronic arthritis.
' won't be able to wear heels again. But I'll have some bad-boy Sketchers blinged up for me,' Jessie said.
'At least I'm alive, and I can sing. I can't wait to get back on stage.'
