Jessie J "had a moment" of reflection in a church she performed in Monday night.
The 25-year-old Do It Like a Dude singer took a break from her Nice to Meet You Tour to play an intimate showcase.
Jessie took to Instagram after the show and posted a picture of the setting, alongside a thoughtful caption about her evening.
The singer found herself contemplating how she could better accept her flaws and put more positive energy out into the world.
"I stood still and closed my eyes and thought... I may make mistakes and let people down sometimes. I don't always get life right. I accept I have flaws as we all do and everyday I am trying to conquer them and be a hopeful and inspiring energy in this crazy world," she wrote.
"I am always seeing where I can give more and be remembered as a courageous and admirable woman now and forever."
Jessie insisted she tries her best to take criticism in stride. The English singer-songwriter admitted although it's not always easy, her intentions are pure and she only wants to put music into the world that makes others happy.
"My intentions are always to be light. Never dark," she continued, thanking fans and signing off with a prayer.
"My heart is always leading me, learning and growing everyday. Thank you for believing in me and guiding me past the ones who try and bring dark into my life. I am so thankful for all that I have... #amen."
Jessie, who wrapped up shows in London's Hyde Park and Greenwich Park at the weekend, will next jet to Rio de Janeiro for a show on September 15.
She will then return to London for concerts on September 23 and 29 before embarking upon her Alive tour in Belfast on October 15.
