Jessie J has revealed that she's ''so proud" of Ed Sheeran following his four nominations for next month's BRIT Awards.
The singer, who also received three nominations for the BRIT Awards 2012, said Sheeran will win at least one award out of the four.
I'm so happy. Me and him were on the circuit together a long time ago and I used to see him gig," Jessie told Capital FM. I remember going to all the underground events and being like, 'this guy is amazing'.
"I remember we were trying to get a deal in American at the same time, always crossing paths," she explained. "It's nice to see people that you not just respect their music but you genuinely like as a person and you see them as a mate. So I'm really really proud of him."
I know he's going to win at least one."
Adele is up for the categories of Best British Female, Best British Single and Mastercard's revered Album Of The Year Award.
The Arctic Monkeys, Chase & Status, Coldplay, Elbow and Kasabian are all up for Best British Group.
Ed Sheeran, James Blake, James Morrison, Noel Gallagher, and Professor Green are all up for Best British Male.
Anna Calvi, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Jessie J and the The Vaccines are going for Best British Breakthough Act.
Fleet Foxes, Foo Fighters, Jay-Z/Kanye West, Lady Antebellum and Maroon 5 contend for Best International Act
The Brit Awards 2012 will take place on the February 21 at London's O2 arena.
