Overview
Jessie, real name Jessica Cornish, was diagnosed with a potentially life-threatening irregular heartbeat as a child and suffered a stroke.
The 23-year-old Do It Like A Dude singer told American magazine YRB's Travel Issue: 'I don’t want my health to define me.
'Yes, I've had bad health issues but it could be a lot worse. I don’t want it to be my boo hoo story.
'I almost want it to be the opposite. I want to be a role model for anyone who has disabilities or health issues who don't feel like they can live their dream, because [that's] complete and utter lies.'
