Joe Jackson's loved ones are "confident he will be back to full health" very soon.
The 84-year-old patriarch of the world famous musical family suffered a stroke this week.
He was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital for treatment.
Joe is apparently doing fine.
"Joe is recovering well and everyone is confident he will be back to full health and on his feet again in no time," a source told Radar Online.
Joe's 38-year-old daughter JohVonnie, who is the half-sister of his children with Katherine Jackson, reports that her father is in good spirits.
She sees no significant difference in his comportment.
"[He had a] baby stroke [as he calls it] and is in the hospital," JohVonnie revealed.
"I spoke to him briefly and he sounded like the same ol' daddy."
Joe and Katherine share nearly one dozen children together: Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Rebbie, Janet, La Toya, Randy and the late King of Pop Michael.
