After playing host to such rap heavyweights as Nas, Ghostface Killah and DOOM, hip-hop is returning once again to the 100 Club in October when 18-year-old Brooklyn native Joey Bada$$ will take to the stage for an exclusive UK show, with support from Irish rapper Rejjie Snow.
As the most prolific member of NYC's Pro Era collective of young MCs and producers, Joey Bada$$ rose to fame when his "Survival Tactics" video took the internet by storm in 2012. The initial shock about his age and maturity was quickly replaced by a growing audience of fans eagerly subscribing to a more meaningful brand of hip-hop being put forward by himself and his Pro Era crew.
After garnering more than a healthy dose of attention from the media, established artists and luminaries alike, Joey introduced his first project, mixtape "1999" last year. The album immediately heralded him as one of the most exciting up coming artists in music, showcasing his unique take on "golden era" hip-hop.
In 2013 he has continued to deliver on the hype that surrounds him, releasing the equally impressive "Summer Knights" mixtape, and progressing on fulfilling his one clear objective: world domination.
Straight outta Dublin…Irish born 20-year-old Rejjie Snow has been causing waves on both sides of the Atlantic with comparisons to stateside peers Tyler the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt. After being signed to Rocket Man management, he has supported the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Doom on tour and released his highly anticipated "Rejovich" EP in June this year.
