The 2008 cult comedy saw the We Need To Talk About Kevin star team up with Will Ferrell to play two fortysomethings who are still living with their parents.
Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival recently, Reilly appeared to confirm rumours of a sequel.
He told MTV News: 'That movie is so beloved by us and also people young and old, honestly. There's such a strong connection to that ridiculous movie.
'We want to really make sure it's the rocket sauce on the second time out. We've come up with some pretty good ideas, so we'll see.'
