John Mayer has writer's block and he wants fans to help him out.
Mayer's calling on aspiring songwriters to make a song out of some lyrics that didn't make it onto his upcoming album. He says people can send a CD of their song to Esquire magazine's music department. He writes a monthly column for the magazine. Submissions are due September 30th. The best entries will be featured on Esquire's Web site.
