VH1 has announced the next installment of its critically-acclaimed Storytellers series with the premiere of "VH1 Storytellers: John Mayer," which premieres on VH1 on Thursday, January 28th at 8:00 PM*.
The seven-time Grammy® Award-winning Mayer treated his fans to a rare and intimate performance, Thursday December 10th at Brooklyn's Steiner Studios. This exclusive performance features a showcase of his new album "Battle Studies" and gives fans a unique opportunity to learn more about the inspiration behind his music.
With the announcement of "VH1 Storytellers: John Mayer," VH1 today has also launched its new Storytellers site at Storytellers.VH1.com. The site is a place where artists and fans can share personal stories behind the songs and artists that they feel connected to and have been inspired by. Fans are encouraged to tell their story about the music that matters most to them by submitting a written testimonial or by uploading a video of themselves. Which artist is John Mayer inspired by? Upcoming Storytellers episodes will be highlighted on the site - submissions for those artists could end up being integrated in future Storytellers' tapings. Blige and Jay-Z.
