Jordin Sparks finds dating ‘weird’

Jordin Sparks is "not good at dating".

The 25-year-old singer has been single since splitting from long-term boyfriend Jason Derulo four months ago.

And Jordin revealed in a new interview that she has yet to jump into a new romance, because she finds the dating game so weird.

"It's been, I guess, five months now. I get really uncomfortable," Jordin said while chatting on radio station Power 105.1FM's show The Breakfast Club. I'm just like, 'No...' It's just weird! It's just weird for me. Like, I was a late bloomer. When I was growing up, I was always the 'guy's girl.'"

Jordin has been focusing on her career since she once again became a single woman.

And she admits that it's this dedication to her work that has proved a turn off for the opposite sex.

"I also feel like sometimes guys are intimidated by me just because I know what I like and I don't really have a filter," she said. "You know, I work and I really enjoy my work."

Jordin and Jason called time on their relationship back in October after three years together.

The former American Idol singer added that she has still not spoken to her ex, following his interviews about their relationship after the split.

"I haven't spoken to him since everything went down," Jordin said. "He helped me with my bag to the car, he kissed me, he told me he loved me...then didn't call!"

"I'm like, 'We need to talk about this and move past it.' He wasn't responding and I was like, 'OK,' so then, I just stopped and I was like, 'You need to come get your s**t.' So he got all of his stuff out of my house."
