Jordin Sparks was among the stars paying tribute to Whitney Houston at the VH1 Divas concert last night.
The 22-year-old singer honoured the late music icon by hosting the event and performing her own rendition of Whitney's I'm Every Woman.
The pop legend tragically passed away in February, aged just 48, and fellow stars from the music world joined together in Los Angeles to remember her influence on the industry.
Jordin became close to Whitney when they starred in the musical film Sparkle, shortly before the singer's death.
R&B star Brandy was also a friend of Whitney's and the 33-year-old shared her memories with the audience.
"The first concert I ever went to was a Whitney Houston show and I was determined to get close to her," she explained to the crowd.
"I talked my way through security until I finally made it backstage, but by then she was already gone. Years later, I finally got to meet her and even shared the VH1 Divas stage with her."
Soul singer Ledisi performed the final number, donning a sparkling dress for her rendition of How Will I Know.
The name Whitney was illuminated in the background as Jordin and Melanie Fiona joined Ledisi to wrap up the show.
Also at the concert were Keri Hilson, Kelly Rowland and the newly engaged Kelly Clarkson showing off her impressive canary yellow diamond ring.
