Justin Bieber is adamant banning fan photos is the "only way" he will survive in the pop industry.
The Sorry singer took to Instagram.com on Tuesday (10May16) and declared he is "done" taking pictures with fans during his down time, because it makes him feel like a "zoo animal".
He continued, "I realize people will be disappointed but I don't owe anybody a picture. and people who say 'but I bought ur (sic) album' know that you got my album and you got what you paid for AN ALBUM! It doesn't say in fine print whenever you see me you also get a photo."
Justin's social media rant was met with mixed reactions from fans, with some sympathising with his situation, while others heavily criticised his stance.
One follower's comments stood out for the 22-year-old, and he reposted the message on his page.
In the post, a user named @braekess blasted Justin as a "douche", writing, "Your fans are the reason you are as successful as you are. The least you could do is take pictures with them."
"I'm sure it's annoying not being able to live a 'normal' life, but 'normal' isn't what you signed up for," the fan continued. "Get over it and stop being a douche."
The pointed remarks prompted Justin to respond directly, insisting he needs to set "boundaries" to prevent the onset of insanity as he continues to struggle with the pressures of fame.
"Braekess you are so right...," he began. "Years ago it was impossible to even take a picture at anytime not everyone was accessible to a camera now everyone has a camera phone and Now it's just a different thing (sic).
"If you think setting boundaries is being a douche I'm the biggest douche around but I think it's smart and will be the only way I last."
The pop superstar, who is currently on tour, then begged the follower to see things from his point of view.
He defiantly added, "I wanna enjoy life and not be a slave to the world and their demands of what they think I need to do!! I love the fact that I am able to make people happy but cmon (sic) if you truly were in my position you would understand how tiring it is (boo hoo Justin get over it) I'm going to keep making decisions I feel are fit for my growth and no human being will make me feel bad for it."
