Justin Bieber jets to Japan with Lionel Richie's daughter

Justin Bieber is taking his rumoured new romance with Lionel Richie's teenage daughter international after the pair was spotted boarding a private jet bound for Japan.

The pop superstar has been photographed with 17-year-old model Sofia Richie in recent days, and it seems she was invited to join Bieber on an overseas adventure after they were snapped together at California's Van Nuys Airport on Thursday (11Aug16).

Bieber is booked to play two shows in Japan this weekend (13-14Aug16).

The singer has been friends with Lionel's little girl for some time, but a source tells Us Weekly the young pair recently started casually dating.

They were pictured enjoying a stroll on Laguna Beach last Friday (05Aug16), when Sofia appeared to be holding Justin's hand as they climbed over a rocky surface, and she was snapped leaving the 22-year-old's Toluca Lake home in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning (09Aug16) wearing a pair of pyjama pants.

Justin and Sofia, the face of Madonna's Material Girl fashion label, were also spotted hiking on Wednesday (10Aug16).

The rumoured couple has yet to comment on the romance reports.

Sofia, who turns 18 on 24 August (16), is Lionel's daughter with ex-wife Diane Alexander. She is the half-sister of fashion designer Nicole Richie, the soul crooner's eldest child with first wife Brenda Harvey.

Justin previously dated Selena Gomez and was linked to Hailey Baldwin, the model daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, last year (15).

More recently, he enjoyed a private movie date with Chantel Jeffries in New York City, while earlier this month (Aug16), he was photographed frolicking naked in a swimming pool with Australian bikini model Sahara Ray while on vacation in Hawaii.
