Katie Holmes: Tom showers me with flowers

The actress has admitted her Hollywood spouse is a true romantic, and sends her the traditional lovers’ flower on a regular basis.

The gesture is a symbol of the Mission Impossible star’s enduring love for Katie and she is thrilled by it.

“My husband has red roses for me wherever I go, whenever we travel,” she told the British publication of OK!

The 31-year-old actress wed 48-year-old Cruise in November 2006 in a romantic ceremony in Italy after he proposed on top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.

The pair have a four-year-old daughter together called Suri, and Katie loves being a mother. She can’t bear to be parted from Suri and the actress says raising a child has been the most important thing she has ever done.

“Everything is the best part, it’s dreamy,” she said when asked what was the best thing about motherhood. “It is just the most wonderful time in my life. Suri is so helpful and so loving. She loves to sing and dance. She’s just so beautiful.”

The actress, who follows the Scientology faith along with her husband, said that her life philosophy is to treat people with respect. She also believes in valuing every second she has on this planet.

“Treat others as you want to be treated,” she said. “And don’t give up on anything in your life. I think you should try to make yourself better each day – you never get that day back. It’s another way of saying that we need to make the most of things.”
