Katy Perry looks set to dominate this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) after collecting nine nominations.
The singer is nominated for all the major awards, including Video Of The Year' for 'Firework', Best Female Video and Best Pop Video.
Perry said: "I have nine nominations. I thought that was a typo or something. That's the most nominations I've ever gotten for anything."
Perry is joined in the Best Female Video category by British singer Adele, who along with Kanye West has seven nominations.
Beyonce and Bruno Mars also received nods.
Lady Gaga had to settle for just three nominations after picking up a record-breaking 13 last year.

The awards will be handed out at a star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles on August 28.
