KATY PERRY has dropped out of a court case against an Australian designer.
An hour before the case against Sydney fashion designer Katie Perry due to be heard in a Canberra court, the singer decided to pull out.
Perry took legal action against the designer over the use of her name on her fashion label
But speaking to the Daily Telegraph, she said she had second thoughts.
She said: "I went to sleep last night worrying about this case and whether I was going to lose my business and now all that has changed."
Katie, who set up her loungewear label two years ago, said that she "hadn't even heard of" Katy at the time. She later launched a YouTube plea to the singer to convince her to back out of the hearing.
Today she said: "Physically and mentally, it's taken a huge toll. I still have to work tonight but I think I'll find time for a glass of champagne as well."
