Katy Perry has apparently hooked up with Winston Marshall from Mumford & Sons.
It was thought the American popstar had reignited her romance with former beau John Mayer, however sources say she got close with Winston in Berlin this weekend.
Both music stars were in Germany for separate gigs; Mumford & Son performed at the Magnet Club on Saturday, while Katy rocked Berlin's O2 Arena.
A source told New York Daily News' Confidenti@l that Katy and Winston ended up hanging out together for a post-performance party, which is when they got close.
German newspaper Bild had spotted Katy at club Schwuz where she partied with drag queen Gloria Viagra, though the Mumford & Son boys weren't mentioned.
The possible romance comes as somewhat of a shock as reports had been circulating that 30-year-old Katy and fellow musician John were getting ready to start a family.
"John adores Katy and has been a mess since their last breakup. He wants to start a family," an insider recently told the American edition of OK! magazine.
Katy's love life further hit the headlines over the weekend when a documentary that premiered at South by Southwest festival claimed that her marriage to Russell Brand ended because of fame.
Brand: A Second Coming, directed by Ondi Timoner, shines a light on the brief marriage that ended in 2012 and shows that Russell became restless with his Hollywood lifestyle.
The documentary, which covers Russell's life over a seven-year period, shows him sitting down with Katy to talk about money and fame, but he finds Perry's answers unsatisfactory.
"I think you're a genius and you make me look good, and that's why I picked you," she says.
In a scene shot after their breakup, Russell tells the camera: "We were going in different directions. Possibly opposite directions."
