Katy Perry's rumoured boyfriend says she is "everything a man would want" in a woman.
The American singer split from her husband Russell Brand last year after 14 months of marriage. She is now said to be dating model Baptiste Giabiconi, although both have been cagey about discussing their relationship.
They are yet to confirm they are officially an item, but Baptiste has spoken of his admiration for the star.
"I think the world of Katy. Not only is she beautiful, but she's also extremely intelligent and super-talented," he told the British edition of Grazia magazine. "I have always had a big crush on Katy. She is an amazing girl. She is everything a man would want."
The model had previously admitted he found Katy attractive, although she was with Russell when he made the comments.
Katy and Russell wed in India following a whirlwind romance. She recently returned to the country to perform and reportedly found the experience emotional.
The star apparently contacted the "spiritual guru" who she and Russell spoke to before they tied the knot.
"Katy was understandably nervous and very emotional about returning to the place where she got married," a source told the publication.
"The divorce is still so raw, but her spiritual guru advised her to do a 'ridding of Russell cleanse' while she was out there, to put the memories to rest once and for all."
Katy recently caused controversy when she seemingly slammed fame in a magazine interview.
She was quoted as saying she was "tired" of being famous and found it "disgusting", but vowed not to let that stop her writing new music.
The 27-year-old has now insisted her remarks were taken out of context, using Twitter to explain what she really meant.
"O the joy of something verbally said being taking out of complete context in PRINT. This is why there's a continuous ?/? for the media world," she wrote.
"U see, the fame quote was spoken in jest (which is typical of me) BUT it's not really about that. The fact is: my success, & u my fans have afforded me the most incredible luxury: to grow as an artist & a human. THAT, I could not be more grateful for (sic)."
