Katy Perry's next album will not feature the singer's boyfriend, John Mayer.
The 28-year-old Firework singer has been working on her fourth studio record, entitled Prism.
Fans are anticipating its release this fall.
But Katy says one thing they shouldn't expect is vocals from the Your Body Is a Wonderland crooner.
Katy dismissed the notion of a collaboration when asked by E! News.
"He is not, actually," she said. "But thank you for asking."
As the outlet reports, Katy did reportedly play a track on Prism for a Vogue reporter back in April which she apparently penned for John.
The pop star opened up about their relationship to Elle UK earlier this year.
The couple has been on-and-off for around a year and she revealed it was a near break-up that caused her to go all in.
"He pulled away. That was a big hello for me," she admitted.
"I realised I could lose the person I loved and I had to deal with some things, issues I think a lot of women have. You can be strong in one aspect of your life but submissive in another."
The star has meanwhile been hard at work promoting her latest musical effort.
She announced the release date for Prism on a gold semi-truck that wheeled around Los Angeles, California this week.
"Katy Perry, Prism, 10.22.13," reads the black text emblazoned on the side of the truck, which will make stops across the US.
"Find the #PRISM semi, take a picture and I'll RT you. Don't worry, Los Angeles is just the first stop on the map," Katy tweeted.
Prism is Katy's first album since 2010's Teenage Dream.
