Sparks fly from the singer’s bosom as she looks over the edge of a balcony and sings her latest track Firework.
But rather than being an ode to new husband Russell Brand, who she tied the knot with in India last weekend, the 25-year-old pop star has dedicated the video to bullied gay teenagers.
The I Kissed A Girl singer, who is currently on her honeymoon in the Maldives, said she was dedicating the video to the It Gets Better cause because “everyone has the spark to be a firework”.
Firework is the third single from Perry’s album Teenage Dream, which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 192,000 copies in its first week.
