Kate Perry looks set to dethrone Eminem from his reign atop the US chart next week with her new album 'Teenage Dream'.
Hitdailydouble.com is projecting a first week sales figure of around 200,000 units giving her an easy top slot on next week's chart.
Eminem has ruled the roost since the release of the 'Recovery' album and will easily take away the biggest selling album of the year the way he is going.
Katy Perry's last album sold 1.23 million copies in the USA.
The one to watch will be Disturbed the following week. This is a band that gets no love from radio yet their last album 'Indestructible' sold 1.11 million in America. 'Asylum', the 5th studio album from Disturbed was released today in Australia and next Tuesday in the USA. Expect it to toss Katy Perry aside after one week.
