Lyndie Benson-Gorelick has filed for legal separation from her husband, romantic sax guy Kenny G.
TMZ reports that Ben-Gorelick has filed papers in the L.A. County Court for a legal separation her estranged husband from Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, better known to the world as Kenny G.
She cited the classic "irreconcilable differences" for their break-up, after 20 years of marriage, which resulted in two sons.
Apparently both Lyndie and Kenny have "lawyered up", according to TMZ. Lyndie's representation has previously worked for Canadian model Gabriel Aubry and Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx and Kenny's has represented Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian.
This suggests there will be legal wrangling over G's fortune, earned from selling over 75 million albums of smooth saxophone odes. He was also one of the original investors in Starbucks, so it could be a significant sum indeed.
While his career boomed primarily in the late-'80s and early-'90s, Mr G has experienced a renewed (and quite possibly ironic) appeal recently. Last year he appeared in a Super Bowl commercial, a Katy Perry video, and alongside Foster The People on Saturday Night Live.
