Kevin Jonas loves every minute of being a father.
The 27-year-old singer and wife Danielle, 28, celebrated their daughter Alena's first birthday last week.
And Kevin admitted while he initially felt daunted by the prospect of parenthood, he is thrilled that he and Danielle have managed so well.
"There is a learning curve for sure," Kevin told People. "You start out not knowing anything and by the end of it you come out as experts in your own way.
"She's unbelievable, she really is — we couldn't have done better. I love every minute."
Kevin and Danielle marked their daughter's birthday alongside friends and family at The Venetian in Garfield, New Jersey.
However, Kevin added in the interview he's stunned at just how fast his little girl's first year has gone.
"She's walking — that's new! It's pretty crazy. She gets up on her own without holding on to anything," he said. "It just happened overnight! Everybody would say to me, 'It's going to go so fast,' and I used to hate that. It's really true."
Kevin first shot to fame as one third of hit band The Jonas Brothers with siblings Nick and Joe.
And while the group are on a temporary break, Kevin admitted he is more than happy for the success of his brothers.
When his sibling Nick recently topped the charts with new track Jealous, Kevin was over the moon.
"We're all doing our own thing and we're really happy. We appreciate the time we spend together. It was just time for us to take a break," Kevin said.
"I'm really happy for [Nick]. He has a number one song. It's a big deal. I'm really happy for him."
