The rock star ex-husbands of pin-up girl Pamela Anderson were the subject of a police investigation on Monday following a punch-up during a Las Vegas awards show.
Musician Kid Rock was cited by police in the Nevada gambling capital after a scuffle involving Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, law enforcement officials told AFP.
A Las Vegas police department spokesman confirmed that Rock was issued with a citation for misdemeanor battery for being the primary aggressor in the scuffle with Lee.
Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, is due to appear in court in connection with the citation sometime in the next three to five weeks, police said.
Rock and Anderson filed for divorce last year after a whirlwind four-month marriage. Lee and Anderson divorced in 1998 after tying the knot in 1995.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
