In the most recent "Kids React" YouTube video from the Fine Bros, kids react to something that has confounded most adults for years: Lady Gaga.
The kids, ranging in age from 5 to 14, are shown a video of Gaga's interview with David Letterman (or "some guy," as one of the kids dubs him) in which the pop star is in rare Gaga form, ingesting Letterman's notes. Watch below.
All of the kids recognize the ever-popular Gaga but appear to be more than a little confused by her actions. "People don't eat paper!" 6-year-old Morgan insists.
Gaga's style, demeanor and even her name (10-year-old Shannon claims in means "stupid" in Filipino) all confuse the kids. But 10-year-old Sloane does offer his insight into why Lady Gaga adopted her persona.
"If she would just be herself, she would just be another singer that sings well," he says. "All the other stuff helps her be an icon."
What's that old phrase? Out of the mouth of babes…
