The level of self important malarky and "the King has no clothes" syndrome afflicting Kanye West and Kim Kardashian has reached new heights in pop culture.
The royal couple of the celeb bullsh*t news released a new music video, “Bound 2,” where we get a two-fer: Kardashian flaunts her post-baby body again (her middle finger to all you fat ankle haters) and West drives his motorcycle across a Thelma and Louise-esque backdrop.
Kardashian straddles West as they ride this motorcycle together. The song is a bizarre pastiche of noises somehow looped together thanks to auto-tune and Khloe Kardashian's eyelash glue.
Sean O’Neal, writing for A.V. Club, summed it up for us:
"As they race across America’s most majestic screensavers, Kanye and Kim stare deeply into each other’s blank faces, their open yet obscured nudity and totally natural intimacy evoking the great love stories of our lifetime, like Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley. It all went down on that most sensuous of all daytime talk shows, Ellen, forcing Ellen to follow lyrics like, “I wanna (expletive) you on the sink” with some cheery, Ellen-esque chatter. “Hey, neat horses!” she probably said as they went to commercial."
