More evidence of the bond between Oprah Winfrey and the Kardashians? Kim has confirmed that the talk-show maven will appear on the family's E! reality series.
"Make sure you guys stay tuned to this season of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' because we'll have a very special guest appearing on the show ... Oprah Winfrey!" Kim blogged. "We filmed the behind the scenes of our interview with Oprah for the show, so I'm excited for you all to see how things went down with Oprah and the OWN crew at my mom's house! It was an incredible day for us all and one we will never forget."
The Kardashians appeared in a two-part interview special for Winfrey's newest TV venture, "Oprah's Next Chapter," where they dished on their family life and Kim got personal about her divorce from Kris Humphries and her romance with Kanye West.
In her most candid sit-down to date about her relationship with the rapper, Kim explained why they waited so long before taking their relationship to the next level.
"We met maybe almost a decade ago, I've known him for a really long time, we've been friends for like six or seven years, so it's very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you that respects you, understands, has gone through similar things," Kim said. "I can really relate to his mother passing, he can really relate to my father passing. I mean, there's so many similarities in our life that I feel like I'm at a really happy, good space.
"I don't know why it took so long for us to kind of get together," Kim added. "But I think I needed to go through all my experiences and some that he's gone through."
In other Kardashians news, Kim's little sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, have announced plans for their first book. The teens are penning a sci-fi young adult novel, they announced to E! News. "I think we will definitely get it done with how fast [the process] is going," Kylie said, with Kendall adding, "We want to do something so different, something that we really love."
