The Kardashian sisters have accomplished quite a bit in the past few years, from conquering reality TV to launching successful fashion lines. At times, it seems like the three siblings are everywhere. So what's the key to their success? Well, confidence.
Kim, Khloé and Kourtney grace the cover of Cosmopolitan UK's December issue and open up for the magazine's Ultimate Women Awards 2012 edition. Looking glamorous in mini-dresses from their new collection for the British brand Dorothy Perkins, the ladies discuss why it's important to feel good about yourself.
"I want to teach my future daughters — and Penelope [Kourtney's daughter] — that confidence is everything," Kim told Cosmo UK, which named the sisters the Ultimate Confidence Queens. "I don't mean cockiness, just being sure of yourself."
"I always remember high school and think, 'If only I had the confidence back then that I have now,' " Kourtney added.
So where does Kim get her confidence? Well, boyfriend Kanye West certainly helps. "He's great at boosting my confidence," Kim admitted. "He gives me compliments in every way possible."
Keeping with the confidence theme, new "X Factor" co-host Khloé was asked how she brushes off criticism about her weight.
"My weight fluctuates like any normal girl and I have times when I feel insecure. So if I come under scrutiny at one of those times, then I might get really down, but the next day, I might be like, 'Oh, f--- off," she said. "I'm so much better than that," she continued before revealing, "I have my moments of weakness, but mostly I brush the criticism off. ... Who cares if I'm not a size zero? I don't want to be. I love my body: I'm healthy, I work out. But I also enjoy life ... the more scrutiny I am under, the more confident I become. I am who I am. I can't do anything about it, I love who I am."
And Khloé can always count on Kim and Kourtney for support. Like most sisters, the trio have had their ups and downs over the years, but at the end of the day, they always have each other's backs.
"I truly want the best for my sisters, from the bottom of my heart," Kourntey said. "When they feel pain, I feel pain. Their struggles are my struggles, and their joy is my joy. Nothing anyone says can change that. Every person is different. That's what makes the world go round."
