The two sisters had jetted away from Hollywood to open up a new Dash boutique while filming Kim and Kourtney Take New York, which aired on US TV on Sunday night.
'New York is going to be an absolute dream, I'm so excited to be here,' Kim, 30, told viewers.
'I'm newly single and I really have never taken the time to be single. I've always been the one that's had a boyfriend and been in relationships for years after years.'
The half-hour long premiere saw the two sisters and toddler Mason move into a swanky Tribeca apartment suite while Scott lodged in a separate room down the hallway.
He and Kourtney had been in regular therapy since splitting up after a dramatic meltdown in Miami when Scott's drinking spiralled out of control.
But once in his hometown of New York, Scott appeared heavily focused on family life and proving he's changed his ways.
'Kim saw me at the lowest point in my life, which was in Miami,' he said.
'But I'm going to do everything in my power to work as hard as I can to prove to her and show her how much I've changed so we can rekindle our relationship.'
After a romantic picnic in Central Park, 31-year-old Kourtney allowed a thrilled Scott to move back in full-time with her and their son.
