The reality TV star turned designer, entrepreneur and author teamed up with rap mogul The-Dream for new track Turn It Up, the man behind Rihanna's mega-hit Umbrella and Beyonce's Single Ladies.
'I wanted to do something that I had never done before, something that was a little bit out of my comfort zone,' the star of Kourtney and Kim Take New York told UsMagazine.com.
'So, I tried it and it was fun.'
The 30-year-old vixen said the much-anticipated track is a 'pop dance' song and added that her legions of fans would get to hear it in about three weeks’ time.
And though the curvy brunette thinks she has a 'cute little voice', she's apparently not looking to launch a full-on singing career.
'You never know what would happen but as of right now I'm not thinking about that,' she added. 'It's just a fun song.'
