Kim Kardashian, Shakira And More: 2013 Celeb Babies Galore!

It's OK to admit it: we have a soft spot for babies — especially when they're the result of two of our favorite celebs. After news broke that British royalty Kate Middleton was pregnant at the top of last month, the rest of December had celeb baby announcements tumbling in after it. Ending 2012 with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's surprise, the New Year now has us looking forward to a 2013 full of bouncing babies.

And although we're still fawning over Blue Ivy (she's about to turn 1!), here are five kids we can't wait to meet this year.

Shakira and Gerard Piqué
The same week singer Shakira was confirmed as a coach on the upcoming fourth season of "The Voice," the "Hips Don't Lie" diva divulged her baby news to the world. "As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" she wrote on her website. "Gerard," of course is boyfriend FC Barcelona soccer player Gerard Piqué, whom she met while filming the video for her South Africa World Cup theme song "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)."

Shakira's bundle of joy is expected in January, most likely hitting the ground running. With the athleticism of dad and the mesmerizing dancing ability of mom, this kid's gonna be a mover.

Kate Middleton and Prince William
The world exploded when the royal family announced their little addition. Newsstands were buried under tabloids proclaiming the pregnancy in 70-point font, TV screens emblazoned the princess' name across their displays and the Internet's archives got a bit fatter.

After millions watched Kate and William's wedding on TV, fans obsessed over the bride's designer dress. Now, they're praising Kate's maternity fashion. In a few months, the baby's onsies may get the same attention. Given the fascination with the crown, the new baby will zoom straight to fame. Let's just hope the birth isn't televised too.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson
Jessica Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson might've had the sweetest announcement of 2012. The singer tweeted a photo on Christmas Day of theirdaughter Maxwell, who was born in the spring, with the words "Big sis" written in the sand in front of her. With a huge grin (and adorable red bow), Max looks ready for a sibling to crawl around with. Maybe Aunt Ashlee can teach the new kid a thing or two what it's like to be the baby of the family. We smell some good reality TV a-cookin'!

Channing and Jenna Dewan-Tatum
It's true: Magic Mike is going to be a dad. After Channing and Jenna met on the set of "Step Up" in 2006, the couple got married in 2009. Three years later, there's a baby on the way, and there's no doubt it's gonna learn some great dances moves from mom and dad. Also, with its parents charmingly good looks, we wouldn't be surprised if the Tatum kid is going to be the cutest baby we've ever seen.

With a TV show and constant media coverage, it isn't hard to keep up with the Kardashians. But when you're dating Kanye West, things get a little shaken up. The rapper announced at his Atlantic City show on December 30 that he and Kim were having a child. We're looking forward to father-inspired album, a baby branch of the Kardashian Kollection and one tricked out crib. Baby West, we can't wait to meet you!
