Kim Kardashian has thanked fans for the outpouring of support in her first public comments since baby North's birth.
The 32-year-old reality star welcomed a first child with boyfriend Kanye West June 15.
She has remained uncharacteristically out of the spotlight ever since.
Kim explained her absence from the cameras in a blog post on Wednesday, entitled "Thank you".
"Hey guys, These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life. I'm enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family," she wrote.
"I've been reading all of your messages and want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes. It truly means everything to me. I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment. Xo With love, Kim".
Kim gave birth to daughter North West five weeks before the baby's due date.
Photographers have been clamouring for the first images of Kim and her first-born ever since.
Recent reports have suggested the star's "protective instinct" has delayed the reveal of her daughter to the world.
Kim's friend La La Anthony recently said the reality star hasn't discussed with her when North, nicknamed Nori, will make her debut.
She echoed Kim's sentiment and said right now mother, father and baby are simply enjoying quality time together.
"North is just a baby. We want her to enjoy just being a baby," La La told Access Hollywood.
"She's still so little. She's not ready to be out in the world around germs and people. As a mom your protective instinct comes in before anything else."
