The 30-year-old Los Angeles-based reality star is set to marry NBA player Kris Humphries on August 20, and had to call in to Vera Wang in New York to make sure that her designer dress hugs her every curve.
'I took the red-eye at midnight, landed at eight in the morning in New York, ran to Vera Wang for a dress fitting at 10am, and then left at noon on another flight out,' she told People magazine.
'So I was literally in for an hour, back out. I spent like 11 hours on a plane just to spend three hours in New York. [But] it was so worth it.'
And she insisted that she is managing to keep a cool head as the last minute preparations take place. 'Everyone says that you freak out,' she said, 'but I think my freak-out moments kind of happened at the beginning when we decided to get married this summer.'
